Partner
Duncan Farrington MBE
Duncan grew up on Bottom Farm in the picturesque village of Hargrave, Northamptonshire. After graduating from Wye College (University of London), he joined his parents as a fourth-generation farmer in the family business. Duncan joined LEAF, becoming a Demonstration farm in 2003 and a LEAF Marque producer in 2005.
Duncan founded Farrington Oils Ltd in 2005, which he runs with his wife Eli, supported by their excellent small team to produce the Farrington’s Mellow Yellow range of products.
A Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Societies (FRAgS), he was awarded an MBE in the King’s 2025 New Year’s Honours for services to Agriculture and the Food and Drink industries.
He still likes to get his hands dirty when he can and relishes getting back on a tractor at harvest.

Partner
Robert Farrington
Robert spent his childhood at Grove Farm, located in Raunds, Northamptonshire before it was purchased by the the local authority to accommodate the needs of the expanding town surrounding it. Alongside his father, he played a significant role in transforming the farm into what it is today, acquiring Bottom Farm to replace the former Grove Farm.
Following the legacy of his father, Fred, Robert developed a strong passion for engineering, and together they innovated and constructed various pieces of machinery that would be utilized around the farm. They understood the principle that if their 1950s CAT D8 bulldozer couldn't break their creations, they had indeed done an excellent job. To this day, Robert continues to be an integral part of the farm, actively contributing to the repairs and maintenance of the machinery, particularly during the busy harvest season and throughout the entire year.

Farm Manager
Stuart Tabernor
Stuart's upbringing took place on his family's dairy and arable farm situated in Staffordshire, where he cultivated a strong passion for environmental conservation. His father, a devoted lover of the countryside and nature, was recognized for his efforts by winning the FWAG award for conservation in the mid-1990s. Growing up, Stuart actively participated in various activities alongside his father and grandfather, such as hedge laying and tree planting, which further fueled his interest in the natural world.
Stuart always questioned the farming methods in the late 90s and early 2000s, for instance, if ploughing was so good for the soil, why is it that every time you plough you pull up subsoil? Before the dairy herd was sold in 2005 Stuart worked with his father and sister learning about better livestock husbandry and they implemented homeopathy into the dairy herd with great success.
After completing his college education, Stuart embarked on a journey that involved moving around and gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field. In 2021 after being made redundant Stuart strived to learn as much as possible about 'regenerative farming' spurred on by a job advert he had seen. From this Stuart completed the Holistic Management program ran by 3LM, the UK branch of the savory institute.
This diverse background eventually led him to work alongside Duncan and Robert on the farm, where he continues to apply his skills and passion today whilst taking every opportunity to expand his knowledge and learn new skills and techniques.
