About Us
The Farrington Family have been farming in Northamptonshire for four generations - run by father and son, Robert and Duncan Farrington, supported by Farm Manager Stuart Tabernor.
Bottom Farm is all arable, running approximately 730 acres around the village of Hargrave. Farming practices revolve around Integrated Farm Management, Holistic and Regenerative agriculture, creating healthy soils, with high environmental and conservation measures. Additionally, it is home of the Farrington's Mellow Yellow cold pressed rapeseed oil range, giving a genuine 'field to plate' view on production.

Award winning
In October 2024 we had the immense pleasure of attending the Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drinks Awards, as finalists for the prestigious Farming Environment Award. It was an exciting moment for us, and we felt a great sense of joy and accomplishment when we were awarded the Gold medal, especially considering the worthy competition we faced. This recognition stands as a testament to our dedication and hard work, and we feel both honoured and privileged to receive such an accolade for our efforts.

MBE recognition
We are delighted to share wonderful news that Duncan Farrington has been recognised in the 2025 King's New Year's Honours list, receiving an MBE. The honour is in recognition for his service to Agriculture and the Food & Drink industries. His years of dedication and commitment to these vital industries have not gone unnoticed, and we couldn't be more proud and humbled of this achievement.
